In short: use the website fairly and give us accurate information. Our tools and chat give guidance, not final decisions, so confirm the details with our team. Hiring decisions on vacancies are made by employers.

About these terms

These terms explain the rules for using the Nextstep Training website, including its enquiry forms, vacancy applications, guidance tools, downloads and chat support. By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

They cover the website only. If you enrol on a programme, join as an employer or apply for a vacancy, separate agreements such as your learning agreement, commitment statement or employer contract will apply to that relationship.

Using the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • submit false, misleading or someone else’s information in a form or application;
  • upload files that contain viruses or harmful code, or that you do not have the right to share;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or the staff areas, or interfere with its security features;
  • use automated tools to collect content or send large volumes of requests;
  • post or send anything abusive, offensive, discriminatory or unlawful, including through chat support.

We may block access, remove submissions or report misuse to the relevant authorities where we believe these rules have been broken.

Information on this website

We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but it is for general information only. Programme content, delivery arrangements, entry requirements, start dates and funding rules can change.

Please confirm the details that matter to you with our team before you make a decision. Nothing on the website is an offer of a place, an offer of employment or a binding quotation.

Funding calculator and guidance tools

The funding calculator, pathway checker and programme comparison give illustrative guidance based on the answers you enter and the rules as we understand them at the time.

  • They are estimates, not a funding decision or a quotation.
  • They do not confirm your eligibility for a programme or for government funding.
  • The final position is confirmed by our team, in writing, before you start.

Enquiries and bookings

When you send an enquiry, request a guide or book a call, we use your details to respond and, if you ask us to, to keep you updated. We aim to reply promptly but cannot guarantee a response time.

You can rearrange or cancel a booked call at any time by contacting the team. We may need to move a call if a member of staff becomes unavailable, and will let you know as soon as we can.

Vacancies and applications

We advertise apprenticeship vacancies on behalf of employers. Each vacancy describes the role as the employer has given it to us.

  • The information in your application, including your CV, must be true and your own. Giving false information may end your application or a later placement.
  • We review applications and pass suitable ones to the employer. The decision to interview and hire is the employer’s.
  • Applying does not guarantee an interview, a job or a place on a programme. Vacancies may close early if the employer fills the role.
  • Any employment is between you and the employer, on their terms and conditions.

Chat support

Chat support starts with an automated assistant that answers common questions using information from this website. Its answers are general guidance and can occasionally be incomplete or wrong, so please check anything important with our team.

You can ask to speak to a member of staff at any time. Please do not share bank details, passwords or sensitive health information in the chat.

Content, downloads and trade marks

The text, images, guides, prospectuses and design of this website belong to Nextstep Training Ltd or are used with permission.

You may view, download and print material for your own information, or to share within your organisation when considering our services. You may not copy, adapt, sell or republish it, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.

Availability and security

We aim to keep the website available at all times but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free from errors. We may suspend or change parts of it for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

We use security checks to protect our forms from automated abuse. You are responsible for keeping your own device and software secure.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit or opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights.

Privacy and cookies

How we use your personal information, and the cookies this website uses, is explained in our privacy and cookies notice.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question about these terms or are unhappy with any part of the website, contact us at course@nextsteptrainingltd.co.uk. Formal complaints are handled under our complaints handling policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the website, so please check it occasionally. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
